Dr. Jennifer Koonce
Dr. Jennifer Koonce is a 2002 graduate of Mooreland High School. She attended University of Central Oklahoma where she received a Bachelors degree in Biology. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Koonce was involved in many organizations including: Tri-Beta, Alpha Lambda Delta Honour Society, Alpha Chi Honour Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, Pre-Med Health Professions Club, as well as Student Body House of Representatives. Dr. Koonce also served as committee leader for Golden Key’s Assisted Living Visitation program where students devote a portion of their week spending time giving back to the community.
Dr. Koonce attended University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013. While in dental school, Dr. Koonce served as Second Delegate and President of the American Student Dental Association Oklahoma Chapter and received the Award of Excellence and Delegate of the Year. She also enjoyed participating in intramural sports, particularly the Amalgamators football team.
Dr. Koonce is married to Greg Thompson and has a wonderful baby daughter Adelyn. When she is not doing dentistry, Dr. Koonce enjoys spending time with friends and family, volunteering at her church, mountain biking and playing with her dogs Lola and Brooke.
Dr. Brandon Loeser
Dr. Brandon Loeser grew up on a farm outside of Byron, Oklahoma, where his family raised cattle and grew alfalfa hay. He graduated from Burlington High School in 2005, from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2009, and from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2015.
While in dental school, Dr. Loeser dedicated much of his free time to researching the effects of bacteria in dental plaque. His research was published in the Plos One Journal and presented at the 2013 International Association for Dental Research Exhibition in Seattle, WA. Upon his graduation, he was the first dental student to receive the Oral Biology Award from the American Association of Oral Biologists.
Dr. Loeser lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Zoe, and two dogs, Charlie and Bailey. He looks forward to relocating to Shawnee in Spring 2016.
